Casual internet users on the Zain network can now take advantage of Zain’s monthly ‘Zain Lite’ plan at the cost of only N1,000 monthly.
From Zain:
“Get connected to high speed internet access monthly on your phone by activating GPRS on your phone, recharge with N1000 and migrate by dialing *141*712*4#”
This gives the subscriber a 30-day subscription with a 100mb data cap, so it is perfect for casual internet users for on-phone usage only. This plan suits those who use the internet mostly at the office but would love to be able to check the odd mail, check out their favourite mobile-friendly discussion forum (stay with mobile versions of websites only!), and get bite-sized information once in a while and during weekends outside the office.

How to connect to the internet using your mobile phone- Free advise
Internet is about communication, getting information and much you can think of, how ever, in some places it’s hard to get a secure connection to the internet apart from using your mobile phone. The speed of the internet will generally depend on the type of phone you have, some phones are just Wap 2.0, others are edge enabled to 3G and now we are on course with 4G technology.
First of all, you have to install the phone software on your computer, it will act as the drivers for the phone, If you have a Nokia phone, make sure you install the Nokia software and like wise for other phone models and brands. Normally, the software can work on all versions or series though in some instances some versions have specific software’s.
Then connect your phone to the computer using a cable specially made for your phone, like the soft wares, most cables of the same phone type can work on most phones with a few exceptions. The remaining steps are always easy, you only need to open your software menu (already installed) and click on the connect to the internet button.
Hover, you must have set up a network connection first, to add a connection which you will use for your internet work, go to my network places, click on the view network connections and then click on the create new connection tab on the upper left side of the window.
On the dialog box which comes, just click next, then select connect to internet on the options which you are provided, then select ‘set up connection manually’ on the provided dialogue box and click next. Well, as it turns out, I can – with a little legwork. Here’s how to set it up (I did this on a Mac, so PC directions might be slightly different – the same rules will apply, though).
Disclaimer: This is all assuming you’ve already got a Google Voice account. They’re sending out invites at lightning-speed, so if you don’t have one, go get on the list!
- Download and Install Gizmo5 (create a free account, with no call credits – you won’t need them!).
- Open Gizmo. In the “Home” tab of the application, click “Edit My Profile.”
- In the tab that pops up, you’ll see, filled in, a number for “SIP number.” Copy that number (everything before the @ sign).
- In Google Voice, click “Settings”, and then “Phones.”
- Click “Add Another phone” and paste the SIP number from Gizmo (again, only what’s before the @ Sign) into the box.
- Name the number “Gizmo” or whatever you want, and then Save it.
- Open Google Voice, and click “Call”
- Enter the number you want to call
- Make sure the Gizmo phone (whatever you called it) is selected as the “Phone to Ring”
- Click “Connect”
- You’ll get a pop-up from Gizmo, with your Google Voice number on the caller ID. Answer it!
- Google Voice will automatically dial and connect the other person, and you’ll be chatting from your computer!
I’m not sure how long this will be around (I’m sure carriers won’t be fans), but for now it’s a fantastic solution for making calls directly from your computer.

I wonder what the wicked people gains in this act of inventing something that could cause damage to human life. I remember some years back when my teacher was discussing the invention of virus and the damages it causes to our system and losing our important file. I remembered asking the question; why those people invent virus and what is their gain on it? The answer he gives me was that; some are using it as a strategy to sale their products and why some just have this evil deed in them.
After I heard that answer, the idea just came to me that it has being like that in the past, even before God created the earth. So, what you just have to do is to be careful and conscious with everything you cause ‘’it’s a wicked world”’.
Well, if you are one who deal on the internet very well, especially if you always getting file to download from your inbox you are advice to take note of this information beause if this may cause you losing your important file and someone could easy peep into your system and take control it with this latest virus
P.S: Please be extremely careful especially if using internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived directly from both Microsoft and Norton. Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet. You may receive an apparently harmless email with a Power Point presentation 'Life is beautiful. ' If you receive it DO NOT OPEN THE FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES , and delete it immediately . If you open this file, a message will appear on your screen saying: ' It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful. ‘Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC and the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password. This is a new virus. Beware!
