By now I believe you should know how to use your phone as modern. If you still don’t know how here it is.
If you have install the pc suite of your phone into your system, open it, find the internet connection and click on it, click on setting, select manual configuration then enter:

Username: web
Password: web

Step 2
Launch it without any configuration, within 5 seconds it will connect to server and launches internet explorer automatically. For me I prefer Mozilla Firefox cause it open my page more faster than any browser and allow me to save my page which enable me to still check through it at my own convenient. Apart from Mozilla Firefox another browser I prefer is flock. So if you have one already installed in your computer go ahead and configure it with the below settings; but if you don't, simply download Mozilla or flock.
After you have launch the freegate, configure the mozilla firefox and flock with: Proxy address: 127.0.0.1 Port: 8580, there you go. Additionally, you can also use ULTRASURF. In the same way with freegate, no configuration is required, all you have to do is connect your phone and launch it.
THE THIRD METHOD: YOUR-FREEDOM SETTINGS FOR MTN

How to maintain your computer and tips I use to keep my file and boost it.
The personal computer is a great tool if you know how to use it properly. This page and related pages are a compilation of tips and recommended software that are great recommendation to maintain your system and software you can use to get your work easy and fast.
This page mainly applies to Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 2000. I don't recommend upgrading to Vista. Please. And I don't recommend Windows 98 or ME unless you have a really old machine and never use it to connect to the Internet.
Feb. 2005 note: I totally chucked Microsoft Windows from my desktop PC in favor of Fedora Core Linux! If you don't yet know the glories of the Linux operating system, I highly suggest you check it out my.

Some good habits
Setting up and working in a limited user account
By default Windows 2000 and Windows XP sets you up as an "Administrator". You should change the account settings to a limited user and only log in as an Administrator when you need to make changes to Windows such as installing new programs. This is for your own protection, and especially so when surfing the Internet! In the Linux operating system, the Administrator account is known as "Root" or "Super User" and no Linux User in his right mind would surf the Internet as Root. That would be like walking through a battlefield naked and defenseless!
To change your account to a limited user, go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Users and Passwords, and click on your account name and then click on Properties. Change the account type to User and then click OK. For this to work there must be at least one account that has Administrator privileges so you should not attempt to change the account to User if the name of the account is Administrator. If it is, create a new account with your user name and password. Make sure that the Administrator password is set. It should not be the same as the Limited User account password.
If you always do your email and browse the Internet from a limited user account, you will have much less danger of being infected by a virus or a trojan. I did a little experiment along those lines. I turned off real time monitoring of Norton Anti virus, changed my working account from a Administrator to a User, and purposely opened an attachment that I knew to be a virus. Norton AV later identified the virus as W32.Mytob.FA@mm which is a mass-mailing worm that opens a back door and lowers security settings on the compromised computer. (See http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.mytob.fa@mm.html) Immediately my Windows 2000 laptop started to experience viral activity. The Norton AV icon in the System tray suddenly disappeared and Zone Alarm reported that some process was trying to access the Internet! Of course I denied it.
The point I want to make here is that the Worm was only active until I rebooted my PC. After that it was gone. Why? It could only run when I first opened the attachment but it could not modify any of the system settings in the registry to continue to live! This means that I didn't have to do any work to clean out the Worm from my system. It died and left no trace as soon as I rebooted the laptop.
Seek help when you don't know what you're doing
If you don't know what you're doing, it's probably good to wait until you do. I learned the hard way that it is usually a waste of time to play guessing games with the computer. It saves time in the long run to get out the particular manual of the software you need to learn and read it. Or you can check out the help file. If you make time to learn what you need to know, you will be investing in the future and save time over the long run. Some folks never have time to study what they need to know, but they always seem to have plenty of time to have problems and agonize over them. It's also good to call your friendly computer geek for advice if he's around. In my case the Geek is always somewhere half way around the world but always as close as my keyboard.
Make a backup copy of any important documents.
A "document" is a file that either you or somebody created using the keyboard, be it a letter you want to hang on to, a database, a report, finance records, translation work, composition, etc. Or it may even be a music file, video file, or graphic file. You should keep duplicate copies of files that are important to you and would be a loss to you personally if your hard disk fails. "Valuable things come in small packages" applies to computer files too. Your most important files may even be small enough to easily fit on a floppy disk -- the least expensive backup media you can buy! I guarantee that if you make 2 or more backups of the same thing, the chance of a total loss of that data is negligible, and especially so if you store those floppies / CD or other media in different places. If you do so, you won't be freaked out by virus scares. You will rest content knowing that your hard work typing a long document will not be lost! And for goodness sake, don't leave them lying around the desk for your kids to play with! If they do, don't blame them! It's your fault for not keeping them out of sight and unreachable by little hands!
Note the location of where a file will be saved or downloaded
When you save a file on your hard disk, be sure to note the name of the folder where you are saving it! By default this is "My Documents" but this is not necessarily so for non-Microsoft applications. Beginners are often not aware of this. You can see the location in the "Save in" section. If you have a clear file organization method, you won't wonder where that file is next time you need it. Moreover, it is best give the file a name that will help you to remember what the contents is. You wouldn't want to toss a gold or diamond ring in a hay loft, would you? That is what you are doing by not looking carefully where you save a file or not naming it in a clear and easy to remember manner.
Don't hold down a key too long unless...
There are only 3 keys you should hold down on the keyboard: The Ctrl key, the Shift Key, and the Alt key. The rest you are supposed to tap quickly or they will repeat themselves. When you need to use either the Ctrl, Shift or Alt key in combination with another key, hold down the key first and then tap the other. For example, a hotkey combination to close an application is Alt + F4. You would hold down the Alt key while taping F4 to make this work.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
It's probably not a good idea to experiment with tweaking your Windows system unless you know what you're doing or know how to undo what you did that brought undesirable results! This is probably the only rule I never keep; I'm a geek who can usually fix what I broke.

Here's something for broadband people that will really speed up Firefox:
1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
* network.http.pipelining
* network.http.proxy.pipelining
* network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
* Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
* Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
* Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.
This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!

Here's something for broadband people that will really speed up Firefox:
1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
* network.http.pipelining
* network.http.proxy.pipelining
* network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
* Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
* Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
* Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.
This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!

It annoy me when heard how much people are paying to connect their system to internet, I just pray this service provider won’t put us in debt all in the name of internet connection.
Well before they do that I have find a way to surf the internet free of charge without any charge only if you will settle down, read this page careful and follow all the instruction I will be sharing with you.
How does this work, its power of a very “powerful software” that remove all the restriction your service provider impose on you through a third party in your country. This software remove all the restriction your service provider impose on you and unblock your firewall from any body getting access to your computer through any other computer. With this software you are in safe mode and you can open any site of your choice and chatting with friend for free.
I know you will be wondering how this work. OK i won't b urn around the bush i will just go straight to how it work.
Ok, are you ready, let start;
What is needed to get your system started
- A Gprs enable phone(Nokia, Samsung e.t.c), the pc suite of the phone, the cable to connect your phone to the pc (desktop or laptop) or through a Bluetooth if you have one and a mtn or zain sim card that is gprs activated.
Note: To activate your zain sim card go to www.dmc.ng.zain.com, I believe you should know the mtn.
- Install your-freedom software into your system and configure it

Use this Port: 443
Connection Mode: HTTPS
Use this Port: 443

In the proxy setting tab leave everything the way it is(leave the proxy port empty)

Connection Mode: HTTPS

For zain
- Enter this setting in the server address
Address: ems05.your-freedom.de, you can also use ems02 to 24
Port: 80
Connection Mode: http
In the proxy setting tab leave everything the way it is(leave the proxy port empty)
Also come to port tab and click on 1, 2, 3
- Install mozilla firefox and configure it to work with your-freedom proxy server. When you open mozilla, on the tools menu, click on option, a dialog box will display click on advance tab-network-setting and enter 127.0.01 in the manual proxy server on port 8080 then click on OK. You can now close and reopen your mozilla
- Lastly, configure your modern (your phone) through your pc suite
For zain
Access point: internet.ng.zain.com
User name: internet
Password: internet
For mtn
Access Point: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
UserName: web
Password: web
UserName: web
Password: web
